What are the benefits of Reflexology?

  •  Reduces stress and induces deep relaxation
In the short term stress is vital, but over time, unmanaged stress turns destructive. It is estimated that nearly 80 percent of all illness is stress
related. Many of my clients routinely fall asleep during a session and report upon waking that they feel just as rested and relaxed as an entire nights sleep. Reflexology reduces stress by generating deep relaxation.

  • Improves blood flow
Stress and tension tighten up the cardiovascular system and restrict blood flow, causing circulation to become sluggish. Reflexology allows the cardiovascular vessels to conduct the flow of blood more easily by reducing stress and tension.

  • Eliminates wastes and toxins
When the body's built-in cleaning mechanisms (i.e. colon, kidneys, lymph nodes and the skin) become blocked or functions improperly, toxins and wastes build up. By deepening relaxation, Reflexology causes all the systems of the body to function more efficiently, including those that eliminate wastes.
  • Balances the whole system
The body is made up of thousands of functioning parts. To be healthy, everything must work together. If one part is not working properly, other parts suffer. To keep the body running smoothly, Reflexology brings the body into balance.

  • Revitalizes energy
Energy flows throughout the body on physical, mental, and emotional levels. To feel good and alive requires sufficient energy. Reflexology revitalizes the body by relaxing and opening up energy pathways.
